Spotlights of the JoCo Parade of Homes: 1603 Maggie Way

We’ve got a soft spot for this Maggie Ranch home… it’s one of the Tina Barletta Team’s listings! But even if it weren’t our listing, we’d still think it was pretty swell. This brand-new home by Kirkwood Builders features over 3,020 square feet of living space, including 4 beds, 3 baths, and a bonus room.

Our Favorite Features of 1603 Maggie Way

What do we love best about this great home? Where to begin? To start, it’s got a 3.4 acre yard, so there’s plenty of peace and privacy to enjoy. Secondly, it’s got all the modern flair of Kirkwood Builders, but all the practicality of a ranch. And you can’t beat that gourmet kitchen, or the double-sided fireplace between the dining and family rooms.

Good Living in Maggie Ranch

Maggie Ranch is the best of both worlds: it’s country serenity with small-town and big-city convenience. The community consists of just seven luxe-style ranch homes tucked onto large, private lots ranging from 3 to 7 acres. And it’s just 10 minutes to Flowers Crossroads, 15 minutes to Downtown Clayton, and 30 minutes to Downtown Raleigh.

Other JoCo Parade Neighborhoods to Watch

We love Maggie Ranch, but if it’s not quite what you’re looking for, don’t be discouraged; there are tons of other great communities to tour! Here are a few of our favorites.

Glen Laurel: With country club amenities, beautiful homes, and some truly breathtaking natural beauty along the Neuse River, Glen Laurel is an easy Clayton favorite. Its showcase home this year is a charming little dazzler by Terramor Homes.

Evergreen at Flowers Plantation: This Active Adult community is designed to make retirement active, fun, social, and easy. As part of the award-winning Flowers Plantation, it’s got access to all those great amenities, plus a small-community feel. Its Parade home is a Promenade Bungalow with over 2,800 square feet of space and some truly spectacular home features.

Tuscany: Tuscany is a breathtaking luxury community located right in the heart of Clayton. It’s got all the amenities of a master-planned community, and a wide selection of homes—from charming ranch to luxurious estate. Its featured home this year is actually from the Vineyards subdivision, an affordable yet sophisticated open-concept four-bed home by Terramor Homes.

Portofino: Calling all horse-lovers! If you’re looking for luxurious living surrounded by endless outdoor recreation, then Portofino is the place to be. You don’t have to be a horse lover to love Portofino… but there is an on-site stable with boarding and training facilities, so it definitely is a perk! This year’s Parade home is a lovely classic design packed full of modern features to love and enjoy.
